Engineering Simulation Services

What Simwize Offers

Engineering simulation services at Simwize cover CFD, thermal analysis, system-level modeling, and reduced-order model development. Each project is scoped around the real engineering problem, so the simulation effort stays practical, focused, and useful for design decisions.

Thermal and CFD Simulation

We perform 2D and 3D simulations of heat transfer and fluid flow for components and assemblies. The analysis helps identify temperature hotspots, pressure losses, flow imbalance, and cooling limitations before design decisions become expensive.

Typical applications include battery cooling, heat exchangers, electronics thermal management, and fluid-flow optimization. Simulations are performed mainly using ANSYS Fluent and OpenFOAM, depending on the project requirements.

Deliverables include validated simulation models, result reports, and design recommendations.

System-Level Simulation

We build system-level models that capture the interaction between thermal, fluid, and electrical behavior using OpenModelica or Simscape. These models help evaluate system performance, transient response, control strategies, and design trade-offs across different operating conditions.

This approach is useful when full 3D simulation is too slow or when complete system behavior is more important than local component detail.

Deliverables include system models, simulation studies, parameter studies, and performance analysis reports.

Reduced-Order Model Development

We develop physics-based reduced-order models in ANSYS Twin Builder, derived from high-fidelity simulations or engineering system behavior. These models preserve the key thermal, fluid, or electrical response while running fast enough for system integration, control development, and digital twin workflows.

Typical applications include battery thermal behavior, cooling-system response, electro-thermal models, and simplified component models for larger system simulations.

Deliverables include reduced-order models, documentation, validation notes, and integration support.

Online Professional Courses

Hands-on online courses for engineers who want to build practical simulation skills in OpenModelica, Simscape, and OpenFOAM. The training is focused on real model-building workflows, not only software menus or theory.

Course topics include system-level simulation, thermal and fluid modeling, electro-thermal behavior, validation, co-simulation, and practical engineering examples. The goal is to help engineers build models that are useful for design decisions, troubleshooting, and project work.
