AI-assisted workflow for OpenFOAM users
foamAI is an early-stage assistant for OpenFOAM case setup. It helps inspect cases, make targeted setup changes, run commands, and keep track of how a case evolves.
The goal is not to replace OpenFOAM knowledge or CFD judgement. The goal is to reduce repetitive setup work and make the workflow easier to manage.
What foamAI helps with
Case inspection
Reads the current case structure and setup files to understand the case state.
Setup changes
Helps modify dictionaries, boundary conditions, and solver settings using plain English instructions.
Native commands
Use the terminal like a normal OpenFOAM terminal and run commands directly.
Workflow tracking
Keeps track of commands, changes, and case evolution during the workflow.
